Mr. Eugene is an educator with a background in psychology and a passion for working with young children. Holding a master’s degree in Education (Teaching & Learning), he blends psychological insight with pedagogy to create classrooms where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to grow.

Now in his fourth year of teaching within an international school setting, Eugene has taught lower primary using the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), where thematic, transdisciplinary learning helped students make meaningful connections across core subjects while fostering holistic development and a love for learning.

His teaching philosophy emphasises inquiry-based, student-centered, and hands-on experiences, where children learn by doing, experimenting, and exploring. He currently teaches English, Science, Mathematics, and Humanities for Year 3, continuing to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and emotional growth in every student.

Outside of work, Mr. Eugene enjoys watching football and badminton, going to the gym, listening to music, exploring good food, and has a keen interest in aviation and plane spotting.
